Stuart Maxwell’s Big River Blues is a collection of experienced international musicians who play grooving, funky R&B in the classic style. 
 
Front man Stuart Maxwell and drummer Adam Perry toured for three years with Mick Ralphs (Mott The Hoople/Bad Company) and bassist George Lesley Calvert worked with Mungo Jerry, John Coughlan of Status Quo and the King Earl Boogie Band. Guitarist Nick Johnson worked with Thunderclap Newman (‘Something In The Air’) and has recently toured a project honouring the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon. Sax man Tom Domagala served his time with the band of the Grenadier Guards and is now a darling of the blues circuit with The Shufflepack. 
 
Expect classic British R&B (the Rolling Stones meets early Fleetwood Mac, with Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf and Jimmy Reed in the repertoire) with irresistible grooves to make you dance, jump and jive.
